What data this website processes

This is an informational website: it requires no registration, contains no forms to fill in and sells nothing. The data processed is therefore limited to the following.

  • Browsing data. IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser and operating system. Automatically recorded in the hosting provider's log files.
  • Cookie preferences. The choice made in the banner is stored on the user's device. It contains no data identifying the person.
  • Analytics data. Only with consent: aggregate information on pages viewed and traffic sources.
  • Correspondence. If you write to the addresses published on the Press page, the data in your message is processed in order to reply.

Purposes and legal basis

  • Website operation and security — legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
  • Statistical measurement of usage — consent of the data subject (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
  • Loading third-party content, such as the Spotify and YouTube players — consent of the data subject (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
  • Replying to requests received by email — legitimate interest of the controller or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.f and 6.1.b GDPR).

Providing data is never mandatory. Refusing consent to analytics and third-party content does not prevent you from browsing the website.

Retention period

  • Server log files: according to the hosting provider's policies, as a rule no longer than twelve months.
  • Cookie preferences: six months, after which the banner is shown again.
  • Aggregate analytics data: no longer than twenty-six months.
  • Correspondence: for as long as needed to handle the request and in any case no longer than twenty-four months from the last contact.

Recipients

Data may be processed, on behalf of the controller and within the limits of their respective purposes, by: the hosting provider, the analytics provider where used, the streaming and video platforms whose content is embedded in the website, and the web font provider. These parties are appointed as data processors where required by law. Data is never disclosed publicly or transferred to third parties for their own purposes.

Some providers may be established outside the European Union: in that case transfers take place on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission or of standard contractual clauses. An up-to-date list of processors is available on request at info@leavemusic.it.

Your rights

You may at any time ask the controller for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Consent, where given, may be withdrawn at any time: for cookies, the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page is sufficient.
